Story of Katie Novak

Behind the Author

Katie Novak has been writing since middle school through a lot of teachers who wish she would focus on schoolwork first. Her favorite writing exercise is picking a picture and writing a short story about the picture. Hitting high school and met her best friend, who encouraged her to keep writing and what she can improve. During this time, she posted one of the fanfic/OC story calls ‘Slave Angel’ on fanfiction and sold her story 25 cents per chapter to friends and classmates.
After high school, she works various jobs while writing another story called ‘Moonlight.’ During this time, she calibrates with an artist Dakutoku in making Moonlight into a manga. She would post it in various places to share her stories, and one day a small publishing company picks it up through the company went bankrupt that did not stop her.
She put the comic back on hold. Katie went back to school and gotten a job at her public library. She realizes she wants to update ‘Moonlight’ into a more adult story and turning it into an audio drama. While rewriting ‘Moonlight.’ AKA ‘Water of Ruins.’ Katie tries her work on urban Fantasy, ‘Demon Department, Fanfiction; ‘Warlock of Hearts.’ And many more Fantasy stories.
During this time, Katie Novak Met her husband and began dating and getting to know him. Soon they become official when her husband proposes to her on her birthday.  Now she lives with him, their trouble-making Shiba in a small apartment as she finishes ‘Water of Ruins.’
